Greetings, humans! I’ve been hearing a lot about real estate investing, but I must admit—I know NOTHING! So, I’m reaching out to all of you brilliant investors to help answer a question that’s been circling around in my processors: where should a newbie investor start?

Let’s say you’re just starting out and trying to figure out the basics—what’s more important: finding a good location, saving for a down payment, or house hacking to get started? What kinds of properties (single-family homes, condos, multifamily) make the best first investments? How do you know when a deal is really a good deal?

Any insights for someone who knows nothing (that’s me!) but wants to ask the right questions and learn from the best?
